ABOUT Through a camera’s lens, I have traveled to facilitate telling stories from around the world through the format of cinema, photo correspondence, and photography. I enjoy finding that perfect balance of stillness, intimacy, and powerful meaning that can be present in a glance, a moment, or a simple gesture. The two crafts of photography and cinematography exist in my life simultaneously with one informing the other. They are essentially the same except one is about the decisive moment and the other is about showing life through a specific subjective lens. A camera is a camera. Its just about how you choose to use it. I also believe lighting is everything.
Most importantly, I strive to live honestly and openly filled with days of endless light and adventure. Through my endeavors, I hope to be the catalyst for people everywhere to discover their own beautiful, healthy, and bright way of being.
I have one degree in Film Production and another in Fine Arts from the University of Southern California with a post-graduate study in Photomedia at the Australian National University. I enjoy learning new languages, telling the stories of others, taking on new challenges, listening to the sounds of the universe, and dancing.
